XO Period Wear is a proudly South African, eco-friendly, ‘Period Proof’ underwear & outerwear brand started by Mother-Daughter duo Stefanie Davis and Carla Pereira. Our brand promotes body positivity as well as ‘period positivity’ & the need for women to be able to feel both sexy & comfortable at ALL times, even on their period.
What is ‘period proof’? Well, our XO’s absorb liquid & moisture, take away odour & ensure that there are 0 leakages. You then wash them & wear them again. Voila! No more tampons, no more pads!
We came up with the idea for XO Period Wear due to the fact that South Africa has no real alternative options for sanitary care, especially ones that are kind to the environment. Having tried to import a similar product for over 2 years, we finally decided that we needed to create and manufacture our own proudly South African product which is easily accessible & suited to our South African women. Almost 2 years later, we introduce to you XO Period Wear.
